The University of Vermont's Fraternity & Sorority Life Announces Pillar and Traveling Suitcase Awards Recipient

2017 Jun 26

Every year the University of Vermont Fraternity & Sorority Life Awards Night celebrates and honors the accomplishments of individual members of the fraternity and sorority communities at UVM, as well as chapters that exemplified commitment to our pillars of citizenship, friendship, leadership, lifelong learning, and justice.

UVM Fraternity & Sorority Life has presented Kelton Bogasky from Pi Kappa Alpha, as The Pillar and Traveling Suitcase Awards recipient for 2017.

The Pillar Award is given to five individuals who have made a significant impact upon the Fraternity and Sorority community and who through their involvement and leadership they have become a proverbial pillar of the UVM community as they exemplify our core values. Pillar award recipients are individuals that have at one point held a leadership position, however understand that leadership goes far beyond a title. They are, just like your Fraternity Man and Sorority Woman of the year, individuals you see living their ritual, attending events as seniors and continuing to perpetuate the next generation of leaders. The Traveling Suitcase recognizes individuals who were selected by their inter/national organization to serve on the road as traveling consultants. It is a great honor to have two members of our community who will be joining their inter/national headquarters staff this summer.
